Right to Withdraw / Cancellations & Returns


If you purchase as a consumer, you may have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of contract without giving any reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations / EU Consumer Rights).

Services (photoshoots & session fees).

– You have 14 days from booking to cancel and receive a refund of your session fee, provided the session has not taken place and we have not fully performed the service within that period.

– If you ask us to schedule and begin providing the service within the 14-day period (e.g., reserve studio time, planning, pre-shoot prep), you agree we may deduct a reasonable amount for work performed up to the time of your cancellation.

– Where a photoshoot is booked for a specific date, rescheduling and cancellation terms in your booking confirmation also apply.

Products (prints, wall art, albums).

Bespoke / made-to-order items created to your specifications (sizes, finishes, personalisation) are exempt from the 14-day right to cancel once production has begun. If you wish to cancel, please contact us immediately—if production has not started we will do our best to help.

– If an item arrives faulty or damaged, we will repair or replace it in line with your statutory rights.

Digital images.

– Once download begins (or high-resolution files are delivered) you acknowledge your statutory right to withdraw no longer applies for that supply.

Email contact@sarahlouisephotography.co.uk with subject line “Withdrawal Request – [Order/Booking Ref]”, or use our Registered Business Address.
